Hello lovely members of QWEER (and allies)! 

In celebration of Galentine's Day, QWEER will be hosting a drinks/networking event for all of you wonderful people to mix, mingle, maybe even make some new friends in our awesome community! 

Aaaaand since it's a Thursday I might even throw in a DJ. Let's go crazy this time. 

QWEER is a networking and advocacy group dedicated to increasing the number of queer women in all aspects of the entertainment industry. We hope to use networking and advocacy to bring together queer women in entertainment so that we may advance the storytelling of queer women.

Feel free to invite any other queer ladies (and allies) you know in entertainment or that are dedicated to advancing our mission! We are all inclusive - gay, lez, queer, trans, bi - howevery you define yourself as a woman and a queer, you are welcome!

KWEENS it is time to drink together. Network. In an effort to save some $$ (and my own sanity) we're going to do some good old fashioned drinking at a bar.

FIRST EVER QWEER NETWORKING EVENT, bc gay women get shit done

HELLO GAY LADIES that also work in entertainment!

Myself, along with the powers that be, jk it was really Krystal Banzon, had a lovely vent recently about how gay men in entertainment all seem to know one another and use that towards their career/social/everything advantage. And FUCK THAT because we're all awesome and GET SHIT DONE. Credit also goes to Alex Ritter and Sara Pearson

So, we've started this group QWEER (Queer Women in Entertainment Everywhere Rise) so that we can all know one another too. YAY. Let's be the POWER LESBIANS that Charlotte so badly wanted to befriend.
